I am a Full-Stack developer who has worked in web development for over 8 years. I enjoy learning new technologies, best-practices and improving my programming skills.
I work as a backend and some times front-end developer across different parts of the product depending on the sprint goals.
In the backend area, some times I'm assigned to fix customer escalations on our Ruby on Rails App. In some other cases I also work on new features that require performance optimizations or adding/maintaining API endpoints. Besides Rails Area, I have also worked on our internal Golang, Nodejs and Sinatra apps.
Regarding the front-end, I work in the admin dashboard to update the UI/UX of it, building better styled pages and adding utility CSS classes to make it easier to maintain. I also invest time to do research about upgrading our front stack to use more up to date dependencies alongside a migration roadmap to make it possible to be applied gradually.

This App was focused on sales teams and high-performance cultures to encourage engagement and productivity through gamification strategies.
The backend was a Ruby on Rails Microservice architecture were each service could communicate with the rest through HTTP requests or via RabbitMQ messaging. The app also had several UIs(AngularJS, React, Backbone) that consumed the endpoints from the RoR backend.

This app consisted in an interactive whiteboard, whose main purpose was to be used in remote agile meetings like retrospectives. All the users inside the same whiteboard saw the same sticky notes, messages and whatever the board had. The users could also interact by adding and moving pieces from the board and the others saw the changes in real time, and they also had a conversation box to chat.
The app was a Ruby on Rails backend server that used Redis and Faye(via Nodejs) to support the realtime features, because by that moment Rails Action Cable hadn't been released yet. The UI was written in BackboneJS and JQuery.

I worked on the development of many websites for start ups, some of them were eccomerces, developing the back-end and front-end of them. Additionally, I was in charge of several web projects and supplied technical advice to others in order to find the best possible solution to their needs.

Apart from being a Full-Stack developer, I enjoy being outdoors playing Football(soccer) and Paddle. I also love meeting new places and taking long walks around the city that usually end up on a good coffee shop.
When forced indoors by the weather or a global pandemic, I love playing strategy/dungeon crawling tabletop games. I also like watching some comedies or sci-fi shows while cooking something tasty, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the front-end web development world.
